"Knicks center Eddy Curry was slapped with a shocking sex-harassment suit Monday by his former driver, who claims the 6-foot-11 hoopster tried to solicit gay sex from him" reported by the NY Post today.

So, beyond being slow, overweight, playing only 2 min and 38 seconds this whole season due to "injury", and having a contract that extends beyond 2010, Eddy Curry is costing the Knicks by lowering his trade value even further.

The Knicks as of right now will already be under the salary cap in 2010 enough to sign a big name free agent like LeBron. However Curry's contract is the last standing piece that, if moved, could potentially allow the Knicks to also sign a second big name free agent if their cards fell right- which could be a big drawing piece for a guy like LeBron. Imagine telling him in negotiations "Hey we're also signing [insert any of Bosh, Amare, Nash etc here] if that makes a difference."

It's no secret there isn't much interest out there for a guy who's out of shape and has the propensity for being lazy. But the guy is known for holding some of the best potential in the NBA (as well as being known as one of the biggest underachievers). Its tough enough to get someone to buy into the potential Curry has, especially as he gets older and fatter, and this does not help.

At this point the Knicks need to showcase Curry (if there is such a thing for him these days)- adding a sexual harassment suit does not help his trade value.

Lets hope his contract is still somewhat movable.

Some ridiculous notes from the NY Post Article regarding the accusations:
"The stunning court papers claim Curry, a married father of three, repeatedly approached chauffeur David Kuchinsky "in the nude," allegedly telling him, "Look at me, Dave, look" and "Come and touch it, Dave."

Curry also made Kuchinsky perform "humiliating tasks outside the scope of his employment, such as cleaning up and removing dirty towels [Curry had ejaculated into] so that his wife would not see them," the Manhattan federal court suit says.

Kuchinsky, who is straight and Jewish, also alleges racial discrimination, saying that Curry hurled slurs at him including "f---ing Jew," "cracker," "white slave," "white devil" and "grandmaster of the KKK."
