Chris Broussard

Broussard has Now Picked Another Team....

Who hasn't he picked????

Broussard is now possibly the most ridiculous 'reporter' in sports. He has now said its close to a "done deal" with Chicago, New York, and Miami. Honestly - the guy must have no clue.

I'm not saying he is lying, but either hes getting fed information to keep the choice unknown (either by LeBrons team or ESPN- both have motives)or he is doing it himself but he has proven he does not know a darn thing.

It's funny that it has changed so much because you have to know that with the production and "special" he is putting on tonight his decision has to had been made for some time- sure he could change his mind at the last minute and change the plans, but odds are he isn't and hasn't so all this information is ridiculous.

I think a friend of C2L said it best:
"Does Chris Broussard know what he's talking about or is he just trying to get onto sportscenter every day?

He was the first to market with Bosh to Miami yesterday...but his
language is less certain today with the "its gonna be miami" thing.

Plus, I think ESPN wants to be wrong so they can blur the line further of journalism and sensationalist entertainment with this show tonight.

Who knows. Just hoping its NYC."

LeBron has said the choice will be annouced within the first 10 minutes of his special tonight... 8 hours and change to go...

ESPN First Take: Chat with Chris Broussard on LeBrons Future

Today ESPN First Take had a chat with Chris Broussard regarding LeBrons future in Cleveland.

Actually a pretty interesting interview- Chris described the overall sentiment of Cleveland fans becoming more positive as the season progresses in regard to LeBron's future with the team past 2010, and rightfully so, I would be. If LeBron wins a championship in either - or both- of the next 2 seasons it will be that much harder for him to leave.

Although Broussard let it be known very directly there are many fans who still hold a strong anti-LeBron sentiment (which is unreal considering LeBron is arguably the best thing that has ever happened to Cleveland Basketball). As he put it "there are still a lot of Skip Bayless' in Cleveland" (Google "Skip Bayless LeBron James"- you'll get a few hard hitting LeBron articles). Apparently a Cleveland psychologist is so baffled by the anti-LeBron feelings some Clevelanders hold that he is saying people could only dislike him in an effort to not get attached in case he leaves in 2010. Keep that guard up Cleveland!

Broussards is a believer that LeBron will more than likely win a championship and stay in Cleveland. With that being said, his overall percentage that LeBron stays in Cleveland - only 65%. Pretty ridiculous for a guy who seems to think he's staying to give a 35% chance that he leaves.

The only other team Chris mentioned by name - New York, I guess to him it's a two horse race.
