The NY Post is now reporting that Gloria James has said that LeBron James will not be a member of the New York Knicks in 2010

Knick fans who are counting on LeBron James to join the hapless team after his contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers expires next year had better have a Plan B.

The hoops star's mother, Gloria, told Page Six it's not happening. "He's a hometown boy," she said. LeBron grew up in Akron, Ohio, but his home now is Cleveland."

We'll we all know LeBron always listens to his mother as shown by this famous scene where he told his mom to "sit yo azz down!" when she tried to get on the court after LeBron took a hard foul from Paul Pierce. That being said- this isn't a good thing, but it's also nothing a little wine-and-dine trip to NYK and some nice monetary incentives might help change her mind.
